My Approach
At the heart of my practice lies a profound
commitment to nurturing growth and fostering healing.
I employ a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients. I firmly believe that “one size does not fit all.” Therefore, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and person-centered therapy (Rogerian Therapy] are some of the approaches used when working with clients. The specific approach chosen depends on the unique needs, preference, and goals of each client.
Online & In-Person Counseling Services
H.O.P.E. Counseling Services provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families who are seeking support and guidance to address a wide range of mental health, emotional, relational, and life challenges. I cater to diverse populations and are inclusive of individuals age 16+, gender, sex orientation, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses.
I offer psychotherapy services and counseling both virtually and in-person. Therapy sessions are available Mondays - Fridays during the day as well as some evenings and limited Saturday appointments.

ABOUT THE PROCESS

No, I do not accept insurance at this time. I accept cash, Visa, and Mastercard.

I have both telehealth and in person sessions. I am receptive to the client’s preference.

I have both evening and Saturday hours. The last scheduled session in the evenings is at 7pm. Saturday hours are from 10am - 2 pm.

Sessions are from 50 - 60 minutes at least once per week. This will depend on the client’s needs as we discuss time and duration during the consultation season.

If stress or distress interferes with your daily functioning and you feel stuck, reaching out to friends and family has not provided the relief you are seeking, then therapy might be a good choice.

We look at the reason you are seeking therapy and if we are a good fit. From there, we set up the next appointment.

The first session will consist of an Assessment. I will gather background and additional personal information about you.

Therapy is confidential unless you are talking about self harm, harming others, child and elderly abuse, and if I am court ordered to provide documentation. I will notify you in that case if that occurs.

I primarily use talk therapy that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT). The Therapeutic approach will depend upon you and your preference.

That will depend on what brings you to therapy. It could be as short term using Solution-Focused Therapy, consisting of 4 or 5 sessions, or longer using other therapeutic approaches.
